Décombaz J et al (2001) reported that post-exercise fat intake strongly promotes intramyocellular lipids repletion independently of training status i.e. the replenishment is similar in trained and sedentary subjects. Furthermore, replenishment of intramyocellular lipids can be completed within a day when fat intake is sufficient.
