negitive pillow bias!

In a survey we also found a negative bias for pillow exists among doctors reflected in their advice to a patient suffering from acute cervical pain with or with out radiation. Many (23 out of 31 referring doctors to our center) of them during an acute cervical pain episode either advised their patients not to use a pillow or use a thin pillow. There was no specification of how thin the pillow should be for such conditions.
